Return of the Bangs

Dun, dun dun. I know what some of you are thinking, “Now Lexi, why would you bring back the bangs? You didn’t rock them in elementary school.” To which I respond: at least now they’re not side bangs.

I cannot lie–I hate the feeling of having hair on my forehead. I now have a habit of pushing my hair up and off my face. Also, since having the bangs, I’ve developed some sort of eczema on my forehead?? Which I’ve never had before??

A meme from Disney's Incredibles that reads, "Coincidence? I think not."

Alas, bangs are a necessary evil of the grow out process. Would they look better if I actually styled them? Yes. Will I do so? No. I’m just waiting until my hair is long enough to pin back or do a half-up, half-down look.

Enjoy some pictures of me in my bangs era.

Me smiling.
Back in January in the early stages.

Notice how flat they were in the beginning.

I think my sweat is justified when I was painting outside in 80-degree weather.

Okay, now we have some volume.

Sometimes I wear a bandana and catfish people into thinking my hair is longer than it is.
